ZIRCO is proud to distribute 3B Controls B100 Series Pressure & Vacuum Relief Valves as the official representative for Western Canada. These UK-manufactured valves are designed to keep tanks and vessels safe during periods of excessive pressure and vacuum caused by filling and emptying of product and changes in temperature.
The B100 Series ensures reliable protection for storage tanks and vessels in Alberta's demanding oil & gas industry. These conservation vents open at pre-set pressures to discharge vapour, then close to create a seal when normal conditions return.
Available in both weight-loaded and spring-loaded configurations, with options for open or closed venting. The lightweight design and removable seats make maintenance simple and cost-effective.

What Is the Purpose of a PV Valve?
Pressure & vacuum relief valves (sometimes known as conservation vents) are designed to protect storage tanks, opening at a pre-set pressure, and discharging vapour. Once the filling / emptying has ended the pressure will drop in the tank and the valve will close, creating a seal.
